the sharon stone in abuja exhibit opens tonight in nyc. conceived by naija-brit filmmaker zina saro-wiwa--founder of africalab, of this is my africa fame--the exhibit "explores and re-imagines the powerful phenomenon that is 'Nollywood,' Nigeria’s booming video film industry and the world’s third largest movie industry after Bollywood and Hollywood." i'm thrilled it'll still be up when i get back to nyc. more info here. --AL.
